AI Innovation Lab Experience Specialist (AI)

What you will do

• Transform client opportunity briefs into service blueprints, agent concepts, coded interfaces, and physical or voice experiences.
• Define human-agent-system workflows, agent states, confidence levels, permissions, explanations, escalations, and outcomes.
• Prototype interactions from sketches and Wizard-of-Oz simulations through coded interfaces, live agents, connected devices, and fabricated forms.
• Integrate data, APIs, LLM and agent frameworks, and external tools to create credible end-to-end prototypes.
• Lead co-design sessions, user testing, executive workshops, and client presentations while managing day-to-day relationships on smaller engagements.
• Document reusable interaction patterns and package code, dependencies, risks, and test evidence for delivery and pilot teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, HCI, Industrial Design, Computer Science, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in creative technology, design technology, interaction design, or software prototyping, including at least 2 years building client-facing prototypes under tight deadlines.
• Portfolio demonstrating working prototypes built independently and the design impact achieved.
• Deep expertise in at least one core craft, such as HCI, interaction or product design, industrial design, or software engineering, with versatility across code, data, and hardware.
• Practical experience with agentic and generative AI frameworks, API and model integration, responsible AI, user testing, and co-design sessions.
• Strong presentation, workshop facilitation, and client relationship skills; willingness to travel to customer sites and regional Lab locations.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Interaction Design, HCI, Design Engineering, or Computational Design, plus innovation lab, studio, or agency experience.
• Experience with TypeScript, React, Figma, Git, API integrations, agent frameworks, and cloud platform tools.
• Experience with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, sensors, 3D printing, spatial audio, AR/VR, Unity, Unreal, Blender, or Rhino.
