What you will do
- Build, deploy, and maintain AI agents and features for personalisation, recommendations, and creator analytics.
- Translate product and business problems into AI solutions and drive work from problem definition through production.
- Design and own scalable data pipelines for feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and real-time inference.
- Establish engineering practices for evaluation design, prompt management and versioning, testing, and monitoring.
- Lead technical design reviews and mentor engineers on AI foundations and production-grade AI patterns.
- Evaluate and adopt new AI techniques, frameworks, and tooling.
Requirements
- 6+ years of engineering experience building and maintaining data-intensive production systems.
- Experience with prompt engineering, fine-tuning, evaluation loops, and AI APIs such as Gemini, Claude, or OpenAI.
- Hands-on experience with AI evaluation tools such as Braintrust or AutoEval and/or MLOps tools such as Airflow, MLflow, or Vertex AI.
- Strong understanding of ETL, batch and streaming pipelines, and data quality monitoring.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud infrastructure and containerisation.
- Experience with rapid prototyping and experimentation to shorten build-measure-learn cycles.
