Director of Product, AML & Digital Asset Compliance

What you will do

• Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for AML and digital asset compliance products.
• Conduct customer discovery with compliance, AML, investigation, and risk leaders to identify important workflows and unmet needs.
• Translate customer and market insights into product concepts, prototypes, requirements, and engineering priorities.
• Drive products from discovery through design, development, launch, adoption, and iteration.
• Define risk models, decision systems, investigation workflows, and user experiences for institutional compliance teams.
• Partner with Engineering, Data, Compliance, Business Development, and leadership on product delivery, strategic sales cycles, and measurable business outcomes.

Requirements

• Significant product management experience building B2B software in fintech, regtech, financial services, risk, compliance, or digital assets.
• Experience owning meaningful products or product areas from discovery through launch and adoption.
• Deep understanding of AML, financial crime, transaction monitoring, sanctions, KYC/KYB, investigations, or related compliance workflows.
• Experience with transaction monitoring, blockchain analytics, wallet screening, risk engines, case management, investigation platforms, or compliance workflow systems.
• Strong customer discovery, product judgment, prioritization, and commercial decision-making skills.
• Ability to operate independently in an ambiguous, early-stage product environment.

Nice to have

• Experience building AML or compliance products at a blockchain analytics, fintech, regtech, exchange, bank, or financial infrastructure company.
• Experience with KYT, wallet screening, on-chain investigations, digital asset risk, VASP licensing, or financial crime remediation.
• Previous experience as an AML practitioner, compliance officer, MLRO, investigator, or financial crime professional.
• Experience with regulated financial institutions and compliance product procurement, implementation, or operation.
• CAMS or another relevant professional qualification, or relationships with compliance and risk leaders.
