Platform Architect (AI/Cloud)

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain internal developer platform components, including APIs, CLIs, web surfaces, and standardized golden paths.
• Evolve CI/CD and deployment platforms using Kubernetes, GitOps tooling, and declarative architecture across environments and regions.
• Help architect an AI-native software delivery stack with coding agents, orchestration flows, automated code review, and vulnerability patching.
• Define platform standards and review RFCs covering platform contracts, observability, security, and performance.
• Mentor engineers, lead architecture reviews, and act as a technical reference for the multidisciplinary platform team.
• Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, and product engineering teams on roadmaps, technical debt, and platform capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience building backend, platform, or DevOps systems.
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript/Node.js, Go, or Python, with willingness to work across all three.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, Argo Workflows, ArgoCD, or Jenkins on a major cloud provider; AWS is preferred.
• Experience building internal tooling, reusable SDKs or libraries, and platform components used by engineering teams.
• Advanced English and the ability to explain complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Practical experience using Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor, or similar AI-assisted development tools.
• Experience building with LLMs and AI agents.
• Strong automation mindset and ability to turn repetitive engineering work into platform capabilities.
