Enterprise Architect (Banking)

What you will do

• Define reference, target, and transition architectures for priority Corporate & Investment Banking capabilities.
• Analyse application and platform landscapes to identify duplication, fragmentation, obsolescence, dependencies, risks, and consolidation opportunities.
• Translate architecture decisions into recommendations to adopt, consolidate, migrate, invest, contain, or retire applications.
• Evaluate buy, build, and reuse alternatives, including market maturity, integration fit, vendor lock-in, and total cost of ownership.
• Lead architecture decision forums and domain working groups with senior technology and business stakeholders.
• Assess end-user computing and AI-enabled local solutions, and translate architecture decisions into fundable transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in technology architecture, enterprise architecture, or technology transformation.
• At least 3 years of experience in Corporate & Investment Banking or Wholesale Banking is mandatory.
• Experience defining reference architectures, target architectures, or transition states in complex technology environments.
• Experience with application landscape rationalization, platform consolidation, or technology modernization.
• Understanding of applications, data, integration, cloud, resilience, and cybersecurity implications in current-to-target assessments.
• English at minimum B2 level is required; professional written and spoken fluency is needed for recommendations, meetings, and collaboration with global stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of a major Corporate & Investment Banking domain or transversal technology platform.
• Experience leading global or cross-domain transformation initiatives.
• Experience assessing buy, build, and reuse alternatives, market solutions, and total cost of ownership.
• MBA or postgraduate qualification in Finance, Technology Management, or a related field.
