Capital Buyer (Manufacturing)

Salary: $77,900–$115,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage capital purchasing activities to support quality, inventory, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Execute strategic sourcing plans aligned with company goals.
• Identify and report supply chain risks, including market trends, capacity constraints, commodity risks, and supplier business conditions.
• Develop supplier partnerships, identify improvement opportunities, escalate issues, and execute corrective action plans.
• Apply purchasing fundamentals, data analytics, supply chain management, cost reduction strategies, negotiation techniques, and World Class Manufacturing principles.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience working with capital purchases.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, or supply chain, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with MRP/ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
• Ability to learn new skills, assume responsibilities, and work cooperatively in a team environment.
• Satisfactory background check and negative drug test results.

Nice to have

• Understanding of electronics technology, manufacturing methods, and total quality processes.
• Additional experience working with MRP/ERP systems.
