M365 Senior Workplace Engineer (Real Time Communication)

Location: Madrid, Spain; hybrid work with an expectation to be in the office at least three days per week

Base salary: EUR 60,000–100,000 per year, plus performance-based variable compensation.

What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of Microsoft 365 real-time communication and collaboration capabilities.
• Deliver platform modernization, migration, and other transformational initiatives that create measurable business value.
• Translate security, risk, governance, and compliance policies into technical controls and operating procedures.
• Design user journeys, services, and processes for real-time communications and collaboration in partnership with internal stakeholders and vendors.
• Implement Microsoft 365, Azure workloads, automation, scripting, DevOps, and CI/CD solutions.
• Use Power Platform and Palantir Foundry for data-informed workplace decisions and visualizations, while sharing knowledge across teams.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of Microsoft 365 digital workplace services, especially Teams, video room systems, Microsoft Teams Rooms, external calling, AudioCodes SBCs and gateways, SIP trunks, PSTN gateways, Operator Connect, voice recording, and switchboard solutions.
• Advanced automation and scripting skills, with experience in modern DevOps technologies and CI/CD methodologies.
• Working knowledge of Azure Cloud, networking, identity and access management, provisioning, authorization, and authentication.
• Hands-on experience with data analytics and visualization tools such as Microsoft Power Platform and Palantir Foundry.
• Hands-on knowledge of enterprise agentic AI platforms such as Copilot or ChatGPT Enterprise.
• Fluent English and strong communication skills across the organization.

Nice to have

• Experience in a global enterprise environment, preferably in insurance or financial services.
• Familiarity with regulatory, governance, and risk management frameworks.
• Experience working with agile Scrum methodologies.
