Assistant Merchant (Soft Wovens)

What you will do

• Maintain line sheets, style counts, seasonal product attributes, and product knowledge guides.
• Update weekly selling reports and support month-end and quarter-end reporting, selling decks, and attribute analysis.
• Analyze business performance, top sellers, retail KPIs, risks, opportunities, and key business drivers.
• Organize and track samples across pre-market, market, and post-market activities, including e-commerce, marketing, photoshoots, and showroom setup.
• Support seasonal assortment building and the direct-to-consumer buying process during market.
• Coordinate updates across Design, Sales, Buying, Production, Product Development, Creative, E-commerce, and Store teams.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of merchandising and/or buying experience.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and support business insights.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, reporting, and presentation building.
• Understanding of retail math and key performance indicators such as sell-through, weeks of supply, and inventory.
• Strong knowledge of market trends and the competitive landscape, with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, cross-functional collaboration, ownership, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
