Lead, Accounting Consolidations

Location: Hybrid — College Park, Maryland, United States. Travel up to 10% domestically or internationally.

Salary: $92,000–$138,000 USD base compensation, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated close across domestic and international legal entities.
• Prepare consolidated trial balances, financial statements, consolidation entries, eliminations, equity roll-forwards, and flux analyses.
• Oversee foreign currency translation under ASC 830 and consolidate newly acquired or formed entities, including purchase accounting under ASC 805.
• Manage the consolidated chart of accounts, entity mappings, reporting packages, and supporting schedules for SEC filings and audit committee reporting.
• Serve as the accounting owner for OneStream and support integrations between NetSuite, OneStream, Pigment, and source ledgers.
• Design internal controls, support external audits, and improve processes to reduce manual work and shorten the close cycle.

Requirements

• BS or BA in Accounting or Finance.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including consolidation in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment.
• Hands-on ownership or leadership of consolidated monthly and quarterly closes.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, including ASC 805, ASC 810, and ASC 830.
• Experience with internal controls in a SOX or SOX-readiness environment and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• For this US non-technical position, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Nice to have

• CPA or equivalent certification.
• Big Four or national accounting firm experience.
• Hands-on experience with OneStream and NetSuite OneWorld or comparable consolidation systems.
• Public company, SEC reporting, SOX 404, acquisition integration, purchase accounting, or accounting automation experience.
