QA Automation - Intermediate (API Testing)

Salary: $65–$70 per hour on W-2

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and mobile applications.
• Create test plans, test cases, and test data from business and technical requirements.
• Run automated test suites in CI/CD pipelines and report results, defects, and coverage metrics.
• Identify, document, reproduce, and verify software defects with development teams.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups to improve testability.
• Enhance automation frameworks and perform regression, integration, functional, and smoke testing.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in QA automation or related testing work.
• Hands-on experience with API testing and API automation.
• Java preferred; Python is also acceptable.
• Cucumber with Java preferred.
• Experience with Bruno or a similar API testing tool; Bruno is not mandatory.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
