Director, Project Management & Strategic Operations (Cystic Fibrosis)

Location: Boston, MA, United States. Hybrid-eligible with remote work permitted up to two days per week, or on-site five days per week with ad hoc flexibility.

Base salary: $185,400–$278,200 per year, plus potential annual bonus and equity awards.

What you will do

• Partner with a Disease Area Executive to lead strategic projects and high-profile initiatives for the cystic fibrosis disease strategy team.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives, align stakeholders, and represent the Disease Area Executive in selected meetings.
• Develop KPI dashboards and reporting tools, monitor initiative ROI, and identify areas for action.
• Create high-impact presentations for executive and senior leadership audiences.
• Lead after-action reviews and recommend improvements to processes and systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; an MBA, PhD, MD, or comparable experience is preferred.
• Typically 10+ years of progressive experience in strategy, project management, healthcare, or biopharmaceuticals.
• Experience organizing and directing multiple teams and departments.
• Strong strategic thinking, project management, analytical, communication, and stakeholder-influence skills.
• Knowledge of biopharmaceutical drug discovery and development across multiple disciplines.
• Ability to work in a hybrid or on-site role in Boston, MA.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree such as an MBA, PhD, or MD.
• Experience with executive presentations, scenario analysis, KPI reporting, and ROI evaluation.
