Manager, Actuarial (Health Insurance)

Location: Fully remote for candidates residing in the U.S., excluding Alaska, Delaware, Hawaii, Louisiana, Montana, North Dakota, Oklahoma, West Virginia, Wyoming, and U.S. Territories. Work is completed from a home office, with occasional travel for team meetings and company events.

Base pay: $135,792–$178,227 per year in California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Washington; $122,213–$160,404 per year in all other eligible locations.

What you will do

• Lead a team of analysts and oversee pricing for several ACA markets.
• Maintain pricing models and methodologies, including trend analysis and experience monitoring.
• Own end-to-end rate development and regulatory submissions for assigned regions.
• Analyze market dynamics and emerging A:E trends to guide prospective pricing strategy.
• Partner with Market P&L, Insurance Product, and other teams on rates, network strategy, and product decisions.
• Mentor pricing analysts and help shape actuarial automation and documentation practices.

Requirements

• College degree in a STEM field.
• Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, or progress toward becoming one.
• 5+ years of quantitative analysis experience.
• Must reside in an eligible U.S. location; the listed excluded states and U.S. Territories are not eligible.
