Sr Accounting Manager

Location: Remote Select within the United States; the role is associated with Birmingham, AL, Atlanta, GA, and Minneapolis, MN. Hybrid roles in Birmingham typically require at least 2 days per week in the office, while hybrid roles in Minneapolis typically require at least 1 day per week.

Pay range: $75,200–$125,000 per year.

What you will do

• Oversee core accounting operations and financial accounting work across the full P&L.
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Provide functional leadership, work review, and technical guidance to a team of three accountants.
• Maintain accounting controls, improve operational workflows, and establish scalable best practices.
• Modernize ERP systems, sub-ledger integrations, accounting processes, and financial reporting automation.
• Partner with business stakeholders on technical accounting guidance, policy updates, ad-hoc analysis, and special projects.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting.
• 6+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP.
• Previous experience with SQL and Workday ERP.
• Ability to work effectively in an ambiguous, fast-paced, and changing environment.
• Curious mindset with a focus on process improvement.
