Product AI & Automation Lead (AI)

Location: Ottawa and Toronto, Canada — hybrid; other Canadian locations — remote

What you will do

• Identify and prioritize opportunities for AI, automation, and modern tooling across Product workflows.
• Build workflows, agents, automations, templates, integrations, and lightweight internal tools from prototype through scaled adoption.
• Connect Product systems and establish reusable shared context for customer signals, decisions, and organizational knowledge.
• Redesign workflows around AI-first, human-in-the-loop execution and partner with IT, Security, Legal, Data, and R&D on access and guardrails.
• Evaluate solutions across business value, security, cost, maintainability, and scalability.
• Define baselines and report improvements in cycle time, adoption, reuse, quality, capacity, and employee experience.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Product Operations, Product Management, business systems, digital transformation, or a related discipline in a complex technology organization.
• Proven experience turning ambiguous operating problems into shipped tooling, automation, or workflow improvements with measurable results.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI, copilots, agents, workflow automation, APIs, integrations, structured data, and rapid prototyping.
• Strong product and systems judgment, including trade-offs across speed, risk, cost, security, and maintainability.
• Excellent change leadership, facilitation, analytical, and executive communication skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
• Builder’s mindset and discipline to operationalize emerging technologies.
