What you will do

• Design and govern secure, highly available, resilient full-stack applications integrated with AWS.
• Develop scalable reference architectures using Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, S3, RDS, and DynamoDB in line with the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Oversee or co-create React and Angular front-end interfaces and Python or Node back-end APIs and microservices.
• Design relational and non-relational data storage layers and event-driven data pipelines.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code, automated deployment pipelines, and containerized solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Lead code reviews, troubleshoot system bottlenecks, mentor engineering teams, and manage a project team developing AI applications.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of professional software engineering experience, including 3–5 years in cloud architecture and distributed application design.
• Active Secret security clearance required.
• CompTIA Security+ certification required.
• Proficiency with React or Angular and Python or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with core AWS services, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD tools, and distributed application design.
• Strong customer-facing communication, presentation, organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Developer certification.
• Experience supporting federal or Department of Defense environments.
