Location: On-site in Louisville, Kentucky, United States, for the full 12-week program from May 24 through August 13, 2027

What you will do

• Contribute to technical projects in software and cloud engineering, project management, agile development, data science, analytics, UI/UX, machine learning, and cybersecurity.
• Build digital tools, mobile applications, self-service experiences, and healthcare technology platforms.
• Develop data engineering, reporting, dashboards, data quality, and analytics capabilities.
• Support AI initiatives including natural language processing, conversational AI, model development, data pipelines, and AI-driven insights.
• Contribute to cybersecurity, threat detection, vulnerability management, identity security, data protection, risk and compliance, and secure cloud architecture.
• Work with experienced technical leaders and teams on projects aligned with healthcare, insurance, and enterprise technology priorities.

Requirements

• Must work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, on-site in Louisville, Kentucky, for the entire 12-week internship.
• Must not require U.S. work-visa sponsorship now or in the future; hirify.global does not support OPT, CPT, or J-1 for this position.
• Current full-time undergraduate or graduate student in computer science, information technology, engineering, data analytics, cybersecurity, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and summer 2028.
• Must successfully complete the CodeVue technical assessment.
• Must be attending or have attended the Society of Women Engineers Conference in Boston, Massachusetts, on November 5–7, 2026.

Nice to have

• Experience with C++, Java, HTML, SQL, C#, Python, Agile, project management, Scrum, data science, Power BI, Salesforce, JavaScript, CSS, cloud technologies, web and mobile development, API development, or AI applications.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 and relevant coursework in programming, data structures, algorithms, or machine learning.
• Campus or community involvement, healthcare interest, strong communication skills, adaptability, and intellectual curiosity.
