Intelligent Automation Intern (GenAI)

Location: New York City, United States; hybrid work with at least 3 days per week in-office

What you will do

• Support the Intelligent Automation team with day-to-day tasks and ongoing initiatives.
• Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end automation solutions for finance workflows.
• Build AI-based solutions for invoice processing, reconciliation, financial reporting, and analysis.
• Develop components of Generative AI and traditional automation solutions with attention to quality, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with colleagues across functions and regions on problem-solving and project work.
• Develop technical and professional skills through training, mentorship, and hands-on project experience.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Coursework or interest in data analysis, process improvement, technology applications, finance, or global markets.
• Basic skills in Excel and SQL or database querying.
• Familiarity with Python, VBA, another programming language, or automation technologies.
• Strong eagerness to learn, communication, organization, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment in New York City, with at least 3 days per week in-office.

Nice to have

• Internship or project experience in Intelligent Automation or Process Improvement.
• Familiarity with Generative AI, Large Language Models, RAG, and vectorization.
• Experience with Robotic Process Automation, web scraping, or LLM fine-tuning.
• Student organization, volunteering, or leadership experience.
