AI Product Owner

Location: Hybrid, with onsite work at least once per week in Reston, Virginia, US; final-round interview onsite.

What you will do

• Identify product gaps and friction points where AI can create measurable value.
• Translate machine learning capabilities into user requirements, user stories, and technical specifications for Generative AI and Agentic AI workflows.
• Coordinate AI integration strategy across multiple Scrum teams and engineering squads.
• Work with AI architecture and data infrastructure to support technical enhancements and integrations.
• Balance AI enhancements for legacy platforms with greenfield development of AI-native products.
• Define the business value and transformation potential of proposed AI solutions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product ownership or technical product delivery experience; the role is intended for a senior-level product owner.
• Hands-on experience designing and launching products using Generative AI and Agentic AI architectures.
• Knowledge of autonomous agents, LLM orchestration frameworks, multi-agent systems, vector databases, prompt engineering pipelines, and foundational model integrations.
• Extensive experience working in complex Agile/Scrum environments and managing dependencies across multiple engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with healthcare technology, healthcare insurance products, claims processing, compliance, or clinical workflows.
• Experience with strategic roadmap planning and anticipating long-term AI trends.
