Senior Technical Product Manager (AI)

Location: USA - Remote

Salary: $124,000–$156,000 USD annual base salary, with additional bonus eligibility potentially available.

What you will do

• Own the AI Services strategy, roadmap, quarterly priorities, sequencing, and technical direction.
• Define multi-step agent behavior, including planning, tool selection, memory, human-in-the-loop checkpoints, fallbacks, and guardrails.
• Lead the Model Context Protocol and tool-interface strategy, including contracts, versioning, and access controls.
• Build the AI evaluation discipline through datasets, offline and online evaluations, regression testing, quality metrics, and production observability.
• Enable portfolio product teams through intake, integration guidance, reference implementations, and adoption measurement.
• Partner with architecture, engineering, security, legal, and compliance teams on design, model selection, cost, latency, governance, and customer trust.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product management experience, including at least 2 years owning AI products as a hands-on individual contributor.
• Experience shipping large language model applications to production.
• Technical fluency in agentic architectures, orchestration and planning, tool and function calling, retrieval-augmented generation, context management, and prompt engineering.
• Hands-on experience with the Model Context Protocol or comparable tool and plugin interfaces, plus experience building AI evaluation frameworks.
• Experience delivering shared platforms or API-based services consumed by other product teams.
• Ability to read code, reason about system design, work with senior engineers, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and produce detailed technical documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience bringing AI capabilities to market in B2B enterprise SaaS.
• Background in finance, accounting, ERP, or business intelligence.
• Experience managing inference cost, latency, and model routing across multiple providers.
• Knowledge of AI security, data residency, and regulatory considerations.
• Open-source AI tooling contributions, published evaluation work, or public involvement in the agentic AI community.
