Senior Developer Relations Engineer (AI)

Location: San Francisco, United States; on-site.

Salary: $150K–$250K annually, plus equity.

hirify.global builds a data platform for production machine learning applications, including feature stores, model serving, GPU and sandbox runtimes, model gateways, evaluations, traces, notebooks, and fine-tuning.

What you will do

• Build with hirify.global products and create demos, sample applications, starter repositories, and technical walkthroughs.
• Own the developer funnel from first click through first deployment, including starter projects, signup incentives, and activation tracking.
• Produce technical videos, build-alongs, launch content, workshops, and deep technical explainers.
• Build hirify.global’s developer community through hackathons, conferences, meetups, social channels, GitHub, Reddit, and Discord.
• Define the Developer Relations content and community roadmap while measuring its impact.
• Partner with product, engineering, documentation, marketing, sales, and account management to improve launches, onboarding, adoption, and the product roadmap.

Requirements

• 7+ years as an AI engineer, ML engineer, or developer, including practical Developer Relations or technical education experience.
• A demonstrated developer audience and a portfolio of technical content, especially videos and live demos.
• Strong Python skills and practical experience with machine learning or agent infrastructure.
• Experience with Git-driven CI/CD, CLIs, notebook-to-production workflows, and coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor.
• Experience growing a self-serve developer product and improving signup and activation metrics.
• Willingness to write code, record videos, run demos, and execute hands-on work rather than primarily managing others.

Nice to have

• Developer Relations experience at a developer infrastructure company from early stage through scale.
• Rust or C++ experience.
• Experience serving models on GPUs or running agents in sandboxes.
• Experience with developer credit or incentive programs and bottom-up adoption leading to enterprise deals.
• An independent YouTube channel or newsletter.
