Strategic Financial Analyst (SaaS/Payments)

Location: Onsite in Pleasanton, California, Monday through Friday

Base annual salary: $110,000–$140,000; annual bonus up to 10%

What you will do

• Own strategic analyses supporting pricing, product investment, go-to-market decisions, and capital allocation.
• Build and maintain the operating model, including EBITDA forecasting, churn analysis, unit economics, scenarios, and sensitivities.
• Turn ambiguous business questions into structured analyses and clear recommendations for senior leadership.
• Partner with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Operations leaders to size opportunities and measure outcomes.
• Support annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis with recommended actions.
• Own weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting for MRR, ARR, churn, transaction volume, payments revenue, and executive dashboards.

Requirements

• 2–4+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and financial modeling skills.
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems and develop defensible recommendations.
• Clear written and verbal communication, including presenting to senior leadership.
• Experience may come from strategy consulting, investment banking, equity research, private equity, corporate development, or strategy, finance, and operations teams at technology companies.
• A bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field is typical but not mandatory.
