On-Site Construction Manager

Location: Remote within the United States; travel: 100%

Base salary: $80,000–$110,000 USD per year, plus performance-based bonuses

What you will do

• Lead weekly construction update conferences with clients and coordination meetings with contractors.
• Coordinate with design teams to resolve contractor requests for information and issue submittals.
• Coordinate clients, project managers, vendors, contractors, landlords, building departments, and other construction stakeholders.
• Maintain uninterrupted equipment operation in critical environments by coordinating HVAC, generator, and utility upgrades.
• Create detailed Method of Procedure documents describing project task execution.
• Update project schedules through the client’s online construction portal and strengthen client relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Five years of experience as a Project Lead for a manufacturer or engineering consultant.
• Ability to develop project schedules, track milestones, manage budgets, and maintain meeting follow-up lists.
• Ability to review and interpret construction drawings.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt to different projects and tasks.
• Availability for 100% travel is required.

Nice to have

• Basic understanding of BMS/BAS systems.
• Previous experience in mission-critical facilities.
• Previous commissioning experience.
