Vice President Healthcare Electrical Engineer

Location: Hybrid role based in New Jersey, United States; some travel to US sites is required.

Salary: $190,000–$220,000 USD per year, plus performance-based bonuses and a U.S.-based benefits package.

What you will do

• Lead the electrical engineering and design group for complex healthcare environments, including hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers, and imaging facilities.
• Oversee electrical load calculations, power distribution designs, construction documents, specifications, and technical reports.
• Manage designs for UPS systems, emergency and standby generators, paralleling systems, and low- and medium-voltage switchgear.
• Oversee short-circuit, selective-coordination, and arc-flash studies using SKM, ETAP, or similar software.
• Lead and mentor managers, engineers, and designers while maintaining QA/QC standards and coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Support field surveys, construction administration, client presentations, proposal development, and healthcare business-development initiatives.

Requirements

• 20–25 years of professional experience in electrical engineering and design.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer license.
• Experience with healthcare, infrastructure, commercial facilities, and data center infrastructure.
• Expertise in electrical load calculations, generator systems, switchgear specifications, power system studies, and arc-flash analysis.
• Extensive field survey and construction administration experience, plus the ability to supervise and mentor engineering staff.
