Principal Technical Product Manager, Enterprise AI Workflow Enablement

Location: Mountain View or San Diego, California, United States

Base pay: $243,000–$328,500 in Mountain View or $230,000–$311,000 in San Diego, plus eligibility for cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead blueprint-based redesign of repeatable workflows across non-engineering functions with internal AI Champions.
• Prototype and validate agentic workflow configurations using LLM APIs, agent tooling, engineering partnerships, and production-quality evaluation.
• Apply enterprise standards for workflow logic, integrations, governance guardrails, agent configuration, and measurement.
• Establish pre-launch baselines, instrument workflows, measure post-launch outcomes, and drive behavioral adoption.
• Transfer ownership of redesigned production workflows to business functions while surfacing platform and architecture gaps.
• Partner with HR, workforce transformation, architecture, telemetry, engineering, and senior operating leaders to connect workflow changes with evolving roles and skills.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience designing, building, or operating production AI/ML systems, agentic workflows, or enterprise workflow platforms.
• Hands-on technical background with production code, technical prototypes, or a technical role such as software engineer, ML engineer, or forward-deployed engineer.
• Current experience personally building agentic workflow prototypes with LLM APIs, agent frameworks, or MCP tooling.
• At least 3 years of experience driving change within other organizations and a demonstrated record of taking AI workflows from prototype to enterprise production adoption.
• Experience influencing VP-level and more senior stakeholders on workflow strategy and investment decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree required; a technical degree is preferred.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience in enterprise HR, Finance, Legal, Marketing, or Customer Success technology.
• Experience with responsible AI frameworks, evaluation pipelines, or AI governance programs.
• Experience as a forward-deployed engineer or AI solutions architect within a customer organization.
