Senior AI/ML Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Provide embedded operations support, capability integration, and rapid prototyping for AI/ML-enabled tools.
• Design and integrate LLM and agent orchestration workflows using frameworks such as LangGraph, Agno, and the NVIDIA NeMo Agent Toolkit.
• Develop RAG pipelines, vector databases, memory services, and MCP-based integrations for secure access to enterprise tools and mission data.
• Tune model gateway routing across frontier and open-weight models for cost, performance, and mission fit.
• Build evaluation pipelines to benchmark model quality, safety, agent behavior, and performance over time.
• Implement AI governance guardrails and document model and agent architectures for reuse.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline with 8+ years of experience.
• Advanced Python proficiency for AI/ML application development.
• Production experience building or integrating LLM- or agent-based systems, including RAG, vector databases, and prompt/context engineering.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required before starting.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced mission environments and escalate operational risks early.

• Experience supporting mission environments.
• Experience with NVIDIA NIM, vLLM, Ollama, LiteLLM, MCP, AI evaluation frameworks, model benchmarking, and AI observability.
