Robot Deployment Engineering Team Lead

Location: Munich, Germany. Hybrid working model with regular office presence; occasional travel within Germany and Europe is required.

What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of approximately 10 Robot Deployment Engineers.
• Allocate team resources and manage project plans and schedules to achieve implementation goals.
• Act as the technical expert for the robotics system and guide the team in resolving AMR issues.
• Own the technical processes and documentation for on-time project implementation.
• Define and ensure quality standards for robot commissioning.
• Track technical project status, risks, and issues, and communicate updates to development, product management, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience leading technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of robotics methodologies and best practices, with experience in mobile robotics deployment preferred.
• Experience with ROS and Python; knowledge of C++ is advantageous.
• Ability to create detailed project plans and schedules and communicate clear expectations to the team.
• Fluent German and English, a valid Class B driver’s license, and willingness to travel occasionally within Germany and Europe.

• Experience deploying mobile robotics projects.
