Senior Business Analyst (Finance Technology)

Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada; Hybrid. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in Canada on a full-time basis. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Approximate compensation range: $104,727–$120,000 annually.

What you will do

• Lead requirements management from discovery through implementation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, process models, functional specifications, and data mappings.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, automation, financial controls, system capabilities, and user experience.
• Define data requirements and business logic while resolving data quality, integration, and system dependency issues.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, architects, developers, QA teams, and senior stakeholders to align priorities and deliver solutions.
• Guide Business Analysts and project team members while promoting consistent documentation and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, computer science, information systems, or a related field.
• 7+ years of Business Analysis experience leading complex initiatives in finance, accounting, technology, or commercial real estate.
• Advanced ability to translate complex needs into clear requirements and align business, technology, and senior leadership stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum, the full Software Development Lifecycle, enterprise applications, financial systems, APIs, integrations, and data flows.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-influencing skills.
