Lead Payroll & FOP Accountant

What you will do

• Own and control the full management payroll cycle, including bonuses and related payouts.
• Maintain accurate management accounting, prepare consolidated management reporting data, and participate in budgeting.
• Research tax requirements across jurisdictions and ensure payroll, documentation, and accounting processes comply with local and international legislation.
• Optimize accounting processes, prepare technical specifications for developers, and support HR software configuration and implementation.
• Coordinate daily team operations and provide financial guidance to internal stakeholders and external vendors or contractors.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Ukrainian tax legislation, including private entrepreneurs/FOP and the Labor Code.
• Solid understanding of EU tax systems, particularly Cyprus and Poland.
• Advanced MS Excel and Google Sheets skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and large datasets.
• Hands-on experience with accounting systems such as 1C and MBC, as well as modern HR software or HRIS.
• Strong analytical, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.

Nice to have

• 7+ years of experience in management accounting or finance.
• Previous managerial or team lead experience.
• Experience managing payroll, taxes, and compliance across Ukraine, Poland, Cyprus, and other jurisdictions.
