Security Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Shape the long-term security vision, roadmap, and best-practice playbooks.
• Harden AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and Go backend services with robust controls, guardrails, and monitoring.
• Own threat modelling, vulnerability management, penetration testing coordination, and incident response.
• Build internal security tooling and GitHub Actions checks that support secure-by-default development.
• Maintain and improve SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certifications, including audit evidence and policy updates.
• Run security training, code reviews, and architecture sessions across product and operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Fluent English.
• Autonomous, proactive ownership of security projects and the ability to work through uncertainty.
• Strong attention to technical detail and a commitment to precision.
• Interest in learning about finance, banking, payments, and fintech.
