Security Research - LIA/Internship (Unpaid) (Cybersecurity)

hirify.global develops cybersecurity technology that combines ethical hacker crowdsourcing with automation for asset discovery and vulnerability assessment.

What you will do

• Validate and implement vulnerability proof-of-concepts from crowdsourced and internal security researchers.
• Develop scanner modules from vulnerability reports using a JSON-based DSL or Go.
• Communicate with security researchers to gather the information needed to understand submitted vulnerabilities.
• Perform code reviews and review implemented module behavior to reduce false positives and negatives.
• Contribute to continuous automation of module development and improve scanning performance and coverage.

Requirements

• Student status and availability for a six-month LIA work placement
• Strong interest in internet security and understanding of how vulnerabilities work.
• Involvement in the security community and motivation to work with an international network of security researchers.
• Self-motivated, versatile, and able to create and drive change.
• Availability to work on-site in Stockholm

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with bug bounties, Capture the Flag competitions, or similar activities.
