Cyber & FuSa Engineer (Automotive Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Conduct or support HARA, TARA, SACA, FMEA, and FTA activities.
• Define functional-safety and cybersecurity requirements for vehicle systems and components.
• Develop security concepts and contribute to system-level architecture decisions.
• Support Cybersecurity Management System activities and compliance with ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434, and UNECE R155/R156.
• Prepare safety cases, security documentation, and traceability records.
• Work with system architects, software teams, product owners, and safety managers while supporting ASPICE compliance and audit preparation.

Requirements

• Professional experience in functional safety or automotive cybersecurity.
• Practical experience with at least one of HARA, TARA, SACA, FTA, or FMEA.
• Experience in automotive OEM or Tier 1 product development.
• Understanding of ISO 26262 and working knowledge of automotive cybersecurity principles and UNECE R155.
• Ability to clearly document technical risks, requirements, and mitigation measures.
• English required; the role is based in Gothenburg or Stockholm, Sweden.

Nice to have

• ISO/SAE 21434 experience and direct CSMS or UNECE R155/R156 compliance experience.
• ASPICE CL2 or CL3 process experience.
• Experience combining functional safety and cybersecurity activities.
• Knowledge of E/E architecture, secure diagnostics, secure boot, or OTA security.
• Experience coordinating safety or cybersecurity work across multiple engineering teams.
