Senior Cloud Security Engineer

Location: Hybrid, based in Sweden, Denmark or Norway, with 2–3 days per week in the office

What you will do

• Own security for Azure and AWS cloud environments and private data centre infrastructure.
• Design, implement, operate, and continuously improve security controls for the product.
• Manage network segmentation, firewall policies, system hardening, and patching.
• Own infrastructure vulnerability management from scoping and triage through remediation tracking and closure.
• Provide threat modelling and secure design input for infrastructure changes.
• Report to the CISO and collaborate with technology and product leadership.

Requirements

• Hands-on infrastructure security experience in private data centre environments.
• Hands-on cloud security experience with Azure, AWS, or both.
• Deep expertise in firewalls, VLANs, segmentation, WAF, TLS/mTLS, VPN, workload security, configuration security, and system hardening.
• Experience with virtualisation platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or Nutanix, plus Kubernetes or equivalent orchestration.
• Experience with application security testing, OWASP or similar frameworks, SOC/SIEM platforms, cloud security posture management, and vulnerability scanning.
• Must be eligible to work in the country of application; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Terraform, Bicep, or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Programming experience with .NET, Python, Ruby, or similar languages.
• Penetration testing, red team experience, or an offensive security mindset.
• AI or agentic security experience.
• Exposure to ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIS2, DORA, SaaS, or regulated environments.
• Security or vendor certifications such as OSCP, CREST, CISSP, CCSP, VMware, Nutanix, Cisco, Azure, or AWS credentials.

Hiring process
