Sr. Staff Manager, Market Intelligence (AI)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States. The role is based at the listed location and may require eligibility to access U.S. export-controlled technology.

Base pay: $149,610–$224,100 per year, plus eligibility for bonus and equity plans.

What you will do

• Build and own bottom-up and top-down TAM, SAM, SOM, market, signal, and scenario models across data center, AI infrastructure, custom silicon, interconnect, optical, networking, and storage markets.
• Develop multi-year market forecasts, demand models, sensitivity analyses, and base, upside, and downside scenarios.
• Apply statistical modeling, regression, machine learning, LLMs, agents, and automation to improve forecasts and analyze complex market datasets.
• Build reproducible models, pipelines, dashboards, and data infrastructure using Python, SQL, and Excel.
• Source and govern internal, external, industry, equity, customer, and alternative datasets as a reliable market-data foundation.
• Translate market intelligence into recommendations for Finance, Sales, Investor Relations, business units, senior leadership, the board, and executive stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, statistics, data science, engineering, finance, or a related quantitative discipline; an MS or MBA is strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in market modeling, TAM and market sizing, demand forecasting, equity research, or quantitative market intelligence.
• Hands-on experience building TAM/SAM and market-sizing models from the ground up, including emerging or first-to-market markets with limited data.
• Strong finance-oriented analytical and market-modeling skills, including the ability to build and defend models from incomplete data.
• Demonstrated application of AI and machine-learning techniques to modeling, research, and analysis.

• Experience in market intelligence, corporate strategy, or an industry-analyst function.
• Deep technical and commercial experience in semiconductor, data center, cloud, or AI-infrastructure markets.
• Experience partnering with Finance or FP&A on planning, outlook, and market models.
• Experience presenting analysis directly to C-suite and board audiences.
• Exceptional executive communication, storytelling, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
