Underwriter IV - Community Development Banking

Location: In-office role based in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Denver, Pittsburgh, Horsham, or Philadelphia, United States

Base salary: $91,000–$202,800 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Prepare offerings, scorecards, risk ratings, and credit recommendations for transactions and assigned portfolios.
• Analyze credit quality, collateral strength, financial capacity, risks, and mitigants.
• Make or support credit decisions and recommend appropriate credit structures.
• Gather information from internal and external customers and resolve incomplete or inconsistent data.
• Confirm regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
• Coach and review other underwriters, serve as a work lead, and provide management coverage when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education, certifications, and experience.
• 5+ years of industry-relevant experience.
• Knowledge of credit analysis, financial analysis, underwriting, risk assessment, and credit decision-making.
• Strong accuracy, attention to detail, communication, critical thinking, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work in-office in one of the specified United States locations.
• Employment visa sponsorship and STEM OPT participation are not available.
