Senior Manager, Operations & Servicing (Consumer Lending)

Location: Santa Ana, California, United States

Salary: $170,000–$185,000 per year, with potential eligibility for bonuses or other compensation.

What you will do

• Oversee the third-party loan servicing partner, including scorecards, SLAs, invoice disputes, audits, quality assurance, file testing, and remediation.
• Manage internal valuation staff and contractors, including onboarding, quality control, and turnaround standards.
• Build and maintain servicing playbooks, procedures, escalation paths, exception logs, and operating standards.
• Resolve complex servicing escalations, loss-mitigation cases, borrower accommodations, disputes, collateral issues, and valuation challenges.
• Administer collateral liquidation and borrower-directed collateral sales in accordance with policy and applicable law.
• Monitor portfolio, credit, and servicing metrics and prepare reporting on performance, portfolio health, and operational risk.

Requirements

• Must be able to work legally in the United States; hirify.global uses e-Verify to validate work authorization.
• Proven experience executing within a written policy framework, exercising delegated judgment, and escalating matters appropriately.
• Experience owning an outsourced servicing relationship, including scorecards, SLAs, invoice disputes, remediation, and contractual audit rights.
• Experience in secured lending operations, including workouts, deficiencies, collateral sales, and tangible-property lending.
• Working knowledge of Reg Z, Reg E, FCRA, UDAAP, and Reg F, with documentation suitable for regulatory or sponsor-bank examinations.
• Bachelor’s degree and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in bank-partnership or embedded-finance lending environments.
• Formal complaint-management or dispute-handling experience.
• Experience with lending secured by auto, marine, aviation, powersports, RV, equipment, collectibles, crypto, or small-business assets.
• Knowledge of or genuine interest in collectibles, trading cards, and the broader hobby.
