What you will do
- Design, build, and operate backend services for the device management cloud.
- Implement device provisioning, configuration management, telemetry, and over-the-air updates.
- Build authentication, access control, and secure handling of device credentials, certificates, and keys.
- Maintain reliable and observable services that support devices operating over unreliable connections.
- Collaborate with embedded and Android teams on device-to-cloud interfaces.
- Integrate the device management cloud with Prevent and investigate production issues to identify root causes.
Requirements
- Solid experience building and operating production backend systems.
- Strong hands-on skills in modern backend development, API design, and data modeling.
- Practical experience with a major cloud platform, CI/CD, and observability tooling.
- Good understanding of distributed systems fundamentals and security concepts, including authentication, access control, certificates, and keys.
- Ability to own features end to end, make practical engineering trade-offs, and collaborate across team boundaries.
- Experience with IoT platforms or other connected products is a significant advantage.
