Senior DevOps / Backend Engineer (Node/TypeScript)

Location: Remote-first, with the option to work on-site with the team in Norway

What you will do

• Create, maintain, and scale GraphQL API services for the headless commerce platform.
• Architect and build distributed software designed for global scalability.
• Work toward 100% service availability and best-in-class performance.
• Manage AWS cloud services and automate infrastructure with Terraform.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD and agile test-driven development practices.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in DevOps and backend engineering with an impressive track record.
• Relevant education, preferably a bachelor’s or master’s degree in software engineering or a similar field.
• Strong understanding of scalability, asynchronous distributed architecture, data management, and API design.
• Experience with AWS, Terraform automation, continuous integration, and test-driven development.
• Good understanding of the full stack required to build modern scalable applications.

Nice to have

• Experience with Node, TypeScript, Bun, GraphQL, MongoDB Atlas, and Cloudflare Workers.
