Focus on developing complex vessel-tracking, routing, voyage-calculation, and real-time analysis capabilities for a growing maritime technology product.
Location: Oslo, Norway. Workplace type: On-site.

develops ShipIntel and ShipAtlas, software products for commercial shipping that use satellite surveillance and real-time data analysis to support automation and decision-making.
What you will do
- Develop backend services for ShipIntel and its real-time maritime analytics capabilities.
- Contribute to global vessel tracking, real-time analysis, vessel routing, position lists, and voyage calculations.
- Work with cloud-based software running on Azure and Kubernetes.
- Build and maintain services in Go and contribute to the technical roadmap.
- Collaborate with backend, frontend, and data science developers in a Scrum-based environment.
- Depending on experience, work independently or guide others in a major functionality or infrastructure area.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience working on a development team delivering cloud-based software.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience for the senior role.
- Experience with common CI or CD tools.
- Experience with Azure and/or Kubernetes.
- Experience with Go, or sufficiently broad programming-language experience to learn it quickly.
- Motivation to learn and improve.
