Software Engineer (Backend APIs)

Location: Hybrid in Stavanger or Oslo, Norway

What you will do

• Build, test, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices powering the platform.
• Write clean, well-tested backend code and contribute to backend architecture.
• Design and implement end-to-end API features, particularly in the EV charger domain.
• Collaborate with API, frontend, platform, and product support teams to improve service reliability and scalability.
• Ship bug fixes and feature enhancements, contribute to code reviews, and improve development workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–4 years of professional backend development experience in a production environment.
• Experience building, testing, and maintaining RESTful APIs or microservices.
• Backend programming experience with at least one relevant language, such as .NET/C#, Java, or Go.
• Understanding of REST principles, HTTP, and relational or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, automated testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
