Senior Backend Developer, Product and Data (AI)

Location: On-site at the central office in Aarhus, Denmark; hybrid options are planned for later this year.

hirify.global builds infrastructure and products for SEO analytics, AI brand visibility tracking, and search data APIs.

What you will do

• Build features across hirify.global and AccuLLM using Django APIs, background jobs, and data models.
• Design ClickHouse schemas and query paths that support tens of millions of daily analytical queries.
• Work across Postgres and ClickHouse and decide how data should be stored.
• Own services end to end, from design and deployment to production operation, observability, and reliability.
• Optionally contribute to the React frontend and develop AI agents, tools, and structured workflows.

Requirements

• Strong Python and major web framework experience; the stack includes Django and Celery.
• Experience with database and API design, including schemas, indexes, migrations, and high-load services.
• Comfort working in Linux and close to production, including incident debugging and improving observability.
• Ownership, initiative, and the ability to make technical decisions when requirements are not fully defined.
• High standards for performance, reliability, cost, operational simplicity, and maintainability.

Nice to have

• React and TypeScript experience.
• ClickHouse or another columnar database at scale.
• Kafka and large-scale data infrastructure experience.
• Experience building AI agents, tools, context design, structured outputs, and evaluations.
