Software Engineer (Medical Imaging)

Location: Work from the office in Copenhagen, Denmark

hirify.global develops ML/DL-based products that automate the analysis and description of routine medical X-ray images for musculoskeletal radiology.

What you will do

• Design and implement software architecture for medical imaging products.
• Integrate deep learning models into production product environments.
• Implement communication interfaces using the DICOM protocol.
• Generate graphical outputs and design and run product verification tests.
• Scale and deploy products across different environments, including the cloud.
• Lead projects and contribute to development processes, infrastructure, and production backbone design.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software design and development experience.
• Strong knowledge of at least one general-purpose programming language, preferably Python.
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
• Good knowledge of software engineering and software architecture.
• Experience with Linux, test design, and CI/CD.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, explain concepts to a broad technical audience, and take ownership of implemented or led project areas.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with high-performance computing languages such as C++ or Go.
• Experience with software as a medical device.
• Frontend or web technology experience.
