Information System Security Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: Denver, Colorado, United States. The role requires a U.S. Person, an active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one, and compliance with U.S. export-control requirements.

Salary: $79,830–$133,051 per year, with a potential annual or quarterly bonus.

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve the classified information system security program.
• Lead security control design, implementation, monitoring, assessments, audits, and corrective actions.
• Manage Windows client installation, configuration, patching, secure baselines, troubleshooting, and retirement.
• Monitor security incidents, coordinate investigations and response activities, and report program metrics to management.
• Prepare authorization and security documentation, including ATOs, SSPs, and POA&Ms.
• Coordinate security requirements with the FSO, ITPSO, system owners, DCSA ISSP, IT, and program teams.

Requirements

• U.S. Person status and an active Secret clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, cybersecurity, computer science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of relevant IT or cybersecurity experience, including three years of hands-on Windows system administration and two years in security governance, control implementation, or assessments.
• Practical experience with secure configuration, vulnerability remediation, endpoint security, audit logging, backups, and controlled change management.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to comply with ITAR, EAR, OFAC, and related U.S. export-control procedures.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CISM, Security+, or another relevant current certification.
• Experience as an ISSM, ISSO, or security lead.
• Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53, NISPOM, RMF, DAAG, and NISP eMASS authorization processes.
