What you will do

• Provide information assurance and security engineering support for network and information security systems.
• Support Assessment and Authorization and continuous monitoring activities across multi-level classification environments.
• Maintain System Security Plans, boundary diagrams, hardware and software inventories, and ATO packages in eMASS.
• Run weekly ACAS scans and use SCAP Compliance Checker to assess DISA STIG compliance.
• Track vulnerabilities, document mitigation statements, and maintain POA&M records.
• Coordinate with engineering teams and ISSMs to prepare complete and accurate authorization packages.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 2–4 years of experience, master’s degree with 0–2 years, or high school diploma with 8–10 years of related experience.
• Eight to ten years of information assurance or information systems security engineering experience is preferred for the listed experience path.
• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Active Secret security clearance that must be maintained.
• Experience with eMASS, ACAS, and SCAP Compliance Checker.
• Knowledge of Navy Assessment and Authorization and RMF processes.
