Cloud Engineer (AWS/Azure)

Location: Fully remote within England, United Kingdom

What you will do

• Design, develop, and enhance cloud infrastructure across AWS and Microsoft Azure.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code, automation, configuration management, deployment frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Support cloud migration, platform transformation, and cloud-native architecture initiatives.
• Contribute to a Cato Networks SD-WAN proof of concept through testing, validation, and implementation.
• Apply Zero Trust networking, network security, and modern connectivity architectures.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and engineering teams to improve automation, resilience, availability, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Remote work from England, United Kingdom.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or comparable Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools.
• Exposure to CI/CD tooling such as GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
• Scripting or software development experience with Python, Go, Java, or a similar language.
• Understanding of cloud-native architectures, networking fundamentals, and network security principles, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cato Networks, SD-WAN, Zero Trust Network Access, or SASE proof-of-concept projects.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust Network Architecture.
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
• AWS or Azure certifications, ITIL Foundation, or experience in large enterprise environments.
