What you will do

• Build, test, and maintain reliable, scalable software for order fulfilment, production, and dispatch.
• Work with engineers, product teams, business stakeholders, and factory colleagues to understand operational challenges and deliver practical improvements.
• Shape technical solutions, contribute to design decisions, and deliver value through small, useful increments.
• Write clear, well-tested code and improve the quality, resilience, maintainability, and performance of services and applications.
• Use agile ways of working to plan and deliver software while improving engineering practices and team delivery.
• Share knowledge, support the engineering community, and contribute to continuous learning.

Requirements

• Professional experience building and supporting software in an engineering environment.
• Strong coding practices with a focus on testing, reliability, and maintainability.
• Ability to break down complex problems and collaborate on practical solutions.
• Understanding of the connection between software delivery, team collaboration, and business outcomes.
• Clear communication, curiosity, pragmatic decision-making, and a growth mindset.
• Understanding of AI engineering tools and practices and their use in software delivery.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud services, event-driven systems, or software supporting operational and production environments.
• Experience with .NET Core, C#, TypeScript, AWS, PostgreSQL, Amazon Aurora, React, JavaScript, Terraform, Windows desktop applications, or Windows Services.

Hiring process
