Software Development Engineer II (Java/React/TypeScript)

Location: Austin, Texas; onsite

Total compensation: $180,000–$220,000, including base salary, annual bonus incentive, and new hire equity package.

What you will do

• Design, build, test, and deploy scalable full-stack applications for the identity platform.
• Own projects end to end, from technical discovery and architecture through rollout and operational support.
• Translate business problems into scalable technical solutions with Product, Design, Data, Security, and Operations.
• Improve system reliability, performance, testing, observability, and developer experience.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and improve platform scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews, technical collaboration, and engineering best-practice sharing.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience building production applications.
• Experience with technologies such as Java, Python, React, and TypeScript.
• Strong fundamentals in distributed systems, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and modern software architecture.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to own complex cross-functional projects and drive them from concept to production.
• Strong communication, collaboration, independent decision-making, and stakeholder-influence skills.
