Functional Consultant (Finance Systems / ERP Implementation)

Location: LatAm; 100% remote. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm PST.

Salary: USD 3,800–4,200 per month.

What you will do

• Lead functional activities across financial software implementations, from discovery and requirements gathering through configuration, testing, training, and Go-Live.
• Work with customers to understand Finance, Accounting, and Accounts Payable processes, challenges, and requirements.
• Configure financial software and translate business requirements into practical functional solutions.
• Facilitate testing and UAT, troubleshoot functional issues, and resolve process or configuration gaps.
• Deliver customer training and support adoption of implemented solutions.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Technical Consultants, developers, and other implementation stakeholders while managing risks, dependencies, and customer needs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience implementing or consulting on financial software, ERP financial modules, or comparable business applications.
• Strong practical knowledge of Finance, Accounting, and Accounts Payable processes.
• Hands-on experience configuring financial software for customer implementations.
• Experience across discovery, requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing/UAT, training, Go-Live, and post-production support.
• Strong customer-facing consulting, communication, ownership, organization, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced English required for regular interaction with international customers and teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, JD Edwards, or other ERP and financial platforms.
• Experience with Accounts Payable automation or financial process optimization.
• Professional Services or consulting experience.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering, IT, or a related field.

• Final 60-minute interview with Professional Services leadership focused on functional consulting expertise, financial process knowledge, implementation ownership, and customer collaboration.
