Plastic Consumables Development Engineer

What you will do

• Lead development projects for plastic and seal products, including tubes, plates, and seals.
• Research relevant technologies, conduct feasibility studies, screen patents, and identify opportunities for proprietary patents.
• Prepare and maintain product documentation in line with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 requirements.
• Develop and update quality-control testing procedures for plastic and seal products.
• Provide technical expertise to Product Management and Quality teams, including validation data, comparative testing, and product complaint support.
• Coordinate benchmark testing, data generation, and certification activities with external testing sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Plastics Technology or Mechanical Engineering with a plastics specialization, or relevant technician-level plastics technology experience.
• Solid knowledge of injection moulding technology and plastic-friendly component design.
• Proficiency in CAD software and experience with industrialization and production of integrated assemblies in controlled environments.
• Experience with error-cause analysis for injection-moulded components.
• Proven experience developing, industrializing, and producing plastic components and assemblies.
• Fluent English required.
