What you will do

• Develop an AI agent using an internal device exploration and characterization tool.
• Evaluate trade-offs between performance, mismatch, area, power, and technology options.
• Explore device optimization, process and design spaces, and operating-condition checks for transistor-level design decisions.
• Help establish efficient engineering methodologies with the NXP Design Enablement team.
• Collaborate with design organizations and technical experts in a multicultural global environment.

Requirements

• Enrollment in a Master's degree in Electronics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with machine learning libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, or pyQT.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with willingness to explore complex engineering environments.
• Ability to work independently and communicate results clearly.
• Experience working in a Linux environment.
• Highly developed verbal and written English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Interest in EDA tools, semiconductor design flows, or engineering automation.
• Experience with data engineering or pipeline tools.
• Experience with Git and Jira.
• Prior academic or personal AI/ML project experience.
