Computational Designer - Architecture & AI

Location: Oslo, Norway; flexible home-office arrangement, with most employees working in person at the Oslo office. Candidates should already be located in Oslo or have the right to work in Norway and be willing to relocate to Oslo.

hirify.global is building a web-based application that helps architects speed up design workflows and access high-quality visualization.

What you will do

• Explore and test technical solutions and workflows for architectural design challenges, including generative AI models and parametric design.
• Translate industry challenges and opportunities into actionable input for product designers and engineers.
• Act as an internal architect and power user for developing and testing product solutions.
• Prioritize the most valuable challenges to solve when resources are limited.
• Test developed solutions against user requirements and architectural workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor-level degree in Architecture.
• At least 5 years of experience in architectural design and/or computational design at a leading international architectural firm.
• Strong architectural skills and a deep interest in architecture.
• Professional experience with generative AI, such as generative image models, ComfyUI workflows, and LoRA training.
• Familiarity with BIM, 3D modeling, and visualization software including Archicad, Revit, 3ds Max, and Enscape.
• Professional experience building design workflow tools with applications such as Grasshopper, plus strong cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience at a software company in the AEC space.
• Experience as a Product Manager or Product Designer.
• Experience developing applications with agent support.
• Existing software solutions for the AEC space.
